Stein Investment Committee uses the MSCI Morgan Stanley Capital Index grading system as a fundamental part of the decision making process as to what funds and DFM’s make the team. We are proud to have one of the first best of breed portfolios of AAA rated (highest) funds (Article 9 below, Dark Green). Within all of our portfolios, over 90% of the best of breed funds chosen, which go to make up our  Themed Portfolios are rated AAA-AA. ESG ratings are a core selection criteria. 

Is the system full proof ? No, we are in new territories in terms of ESG grading, mistakes will happen, but its clear the relevant governing bodies mean business and are imposing large fines on funds that falsify their green credentials
